The E-Class is the car I use for most bookings, and for good reason: it is comfortable, discreet and the right size for one to three people. This page explains what the Mercedes E-Class with a driver in Barcelona is for, what it costs and when I would suggest another vehicle.

E-Class chauffeur in Barcelona: what it suits

The E-Class and the V-Class cost the same, so the choice is about the group. If you are three or fewer and travelling light, the E-Class is a good fit. If you are four or more, or carrying a lot of luggage, I would book the V-Class. If you want the more formal car for an occasion, the S-Class is booked by the hour.
Day trips with the E-Class
Because the E-Class can be booked by the hour, the driver can take you outside Barcelona and wait while you visit. Popular destinations include Sitges, Montserrat and Girona. E-Class or a bigger vehicle?
I give the same advice every time: count the passengers and the suitcases, not just the passengers. The E-Class is fine for three people with cabin bags. For three people with large suitcases, the V-Class is safer. The fleet page shows all six vehicles, from the E-Class to the coach.

Why I recommend the E-Class for business travellers
The usual executive trip is simple: one or two people, a few bags, an appointment at a fixed time. The E-Class fits that without extra cost. It is large enough to work in on the way, and it is easy to place at the door of a hotel or an office.
The fixed airport price of €80 makes cost control straightforward for a company. For a day with several appointments, the 6-hour booking at €470 covers a morning and an afternoon with the car always close. If your people travel often, tell me, and I will agree with you how bookings are requested so that each trip is quick to arrange.
Airport transfer in the E-Class
On arrival, the driver takes you from the airport to the address you gave. The price is €80 for the whole vehicle, whether one or three people are travelling. I do not state taxi fares on this page; the official taxi information is on the AMB site, and I compare taxis and private cars on the airport taxi vs private car page.
Departing guests should give me the flight time so that I can work back from it and plan the pick-up with margin.
Questions I am asked about the E-Class
Is it the same car on the day? I confirm the vehicle category with you, a Mercedes E-Class, and the pick-up details in advance.
Can I add a stop? Yes. On a fixed transfer, tell me before the day. On an hourly booking, you can add stops as you go.
What if my plans change? Send me the new details as early as you can. For hourly bookings, extra time is charged at €80 an hour.
Can I book return journeys? Yes. Tell me both legs in the quote request, and I price them together.
Using the E-Class around the city
Inside Barcelona, the E-Class is a convenient size. It handles the Eixample grid and the narrow streets near the old town, and a driver can stop at hotel and office entrances. Public transport is excellent for solo trips, and the TMB site has the current network. A chauffeur makes sense when you have luggage, a tight schedule, formal clothes or simply no wish to navigate.
For events, the E-Class is a good fit for a business guest attending the Mobile World Congress or the Formula 1 weekend at Montmeló. In both cases the driver can wait nearby and take you to dinner afterwards, booked by the hour.
