Private transfers from Barcelona are the simplest way to reach the coast, the mountains or the airport near your destination without changing vehicles. This page lists the routes I price in the table, the ones I quote on request, and how to choose between them.
Private transfers from Barcelona: fixed prices
These are the destinations with a fixed price per vehicle. Prices are in euros and include VAT.
| Destination | E-Class (3) | V-Class (7) | Sprinter (16) | Minibus (33) | Coach (60) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sitges | €135 | €135 | €345 | €420 | €420 |
| Montserrat | €135 | €135 | €410 | €495 | €495 |
| Girona | €210 | €210 | €610 | €750 | €750 |
| PortAventura | €235 | €235 | €610 | €750 | €750 |
| Andorra | €395 | €395 | €1,220 | €1,485 | €1,485 |
The price is per vehicle. A family of six in a V-Class pays the same as one traveller in an E-Class. The full table, including airport rows and hourly hire, is on the prices page.
Barcelona long-distance transfers by destination
Sitges
Sitges is the coastal town southwest of Barcelona. I have a page for the airport to Sitges transfer and one for Barcelona to Sitges. The town publishes visitor information at sitgestur.cat.
Montserrat
Montserrat is the mountain monastery inland from Barcelona. A private transfer lets the group travel at its own pace; for access rules see the official Montserrat site. The route from the airport is on the airport to Montserrat page.
Girona
Girona is the largest city north of Barcelona and a base for the Costa Brava. If you land at the airport first, see Barcelona airport to Girona. If you fly home from Girona, see Girona airport to Barcelona.
PortAventura and Salou
PortAventura is a theme park and resort on the coast near Tarragona. Many families ask about Salou, which sits next to it. The price in the table is for PortAventura; Salou and nearby hotels are quoted on request. See the Barcelona to PortAventura and Barcelona to Salou pages.
Andorra and Pas de la Casa
Andorra is a mountain country between France and Spain. The drive from Barcelona is long, so most guests choose a V-Class or larger for the comfort. Winter traffic and snow rules change, so check Visit Andorra before you travel. See Barcelona to Andorra and Pas de la Casa for the ski routes.
Other private transfers I quote on request
Not every route fits a fixed table. These are quoted on request:
- Tarragona, Reus airport and Girona airport.
- Lloret de Mar, Tossa de Mar, Cadaqués and other Costa Brava towns.
- Madrid, Valencia and the south of France.
- Several-day tours or trips with waiting time.
For long routes such as Madrid or Valencia, the price depends on dates, waiting and the return, so I quote each case.
Private transfers from Barcelona airport
Airport transfers are the most requested. A transfer between El Prat and Barcelona is on the airport transfer page. Transfers from the airport to the coast or a mountain destination are quoted on request, while the cruise port, with or without the airport, has the airport price. The airport itself publishes terminal and arrival information at Aena. Every cruise port run, including airport to port, is priced exactly like the airport transfer; see the cruise port transfer page, or airport to cruise port.
Choosing the right vehicle
- E-Class: up to 3 passengers, ideal for couples and business travellers.
- V-Class: up to 7 passengers, the best choice for families with luggage.
- Sprinter: up to 16 passengers, good for small groups and weddings.
- Minibus and coach: up to 33 and 60 passengers, for tour groups.
The fleet page shows each vehicle. If you are unsure, tell me the group size and the number of suitcases and I suggest one.
What affects a long-distance price
The table above covers the routes I price in advance. For everything else, a quote depends on a few things: the distance, how long the vehicle waits, whether it returns empty or carries you back, and the date. A one-way drop at a hotel is simpler than a day with several stops, which is better priced by the hour.
If you plan to stay a few hours at the destination, tell me. For a visit to Montserrat or a lunch in Girona, a driver at your disposal can be a better fit than two separate transfers, and the hourly rates for each vehicle are on the prices page.
Transfers for groups, weddings and events
Groups usually travel better in one vehicle. A Sprinter takes up to 16 passengers, a minibus up to 33 and a coach up to 60, and the price for the destination is the same whether the vehicle is full or not. For wedding parties and company outings, I plan the timings with the organiser so that everyone is picked up in the right order. See coach hire for large groups and the events page for weddings and congresses.
Before you travel
Check the official pages of your destination for opening dates and access rules, because they change. The Catalonia tourism site is a good starting point for the region, and the Visit Barcelona site covers the city. Book tickets and entry directly with the venue. Tell me your flight or train times in the form so I can match the pick-up to them.
Questions I get before a booking
Guests usually ask three things. First, whether the price changes with the number of people: it does not, as long as everyone fits in the vehicle. Second, whether the driver can stop on the way: short stops for a photograph or a coffee are easy to arrange, and I include them in the plan. Third, whether a return is possible on the same day: yes, either as a second transfer or as a driver at your disposal by the hour.
How to book
- Pick your destination from the table or describe it in the form below.
- Tell me the date, pick-up address and number of passengers.
- I reply with the price for the vehicle that fits.
- Confirm the booking and I send the final details.
For a day out rather than a one-way trip, see chauffeur by the hour or day trips from Barcelona.
