The cars on a wedding day are mostly about timing. The couple must be at the ceremony, the families at the church or the town hall, the guests at the reception, and nobody should be searching for a taxi in formal clothes. A wedding chauffeur in Barcelona takes that off the day. This page explains how I plan wedding transport, which vehicles suit which role and what the hire costs.
Wedding chauffeur in Barcelona: how I plan the day
Wedding transport is booked as a driver at your disposal. You and I agree the hours, the pick-up points and the route, the driver arrives early, and the car stays available until the time you set. Hire has a 6-hour minimum per day, with no maximum, and extra hours are charged at the hourly rate.
I ask for the details when I quote: the ceremony address, the reception venue, the guest numbers and the times. If you have a photographer who wants a stop at a particular place, tell me, and I include it in the schedule.

The S-Class is booked by the hour only. Weddings outside the city, several days of events or cars for a different date are quoted on request. The prices page has the full list, and the chauffeur by the hour page explains how the hours work.
Which car for which role
- The couple. The Mercedes S-Class is the most formal choice, with room for the bride’s dress and a second passenger. The Mercedes E-Class is the quieter alternative.
- The wedding party and family. The Mercedes V-Class takes up to 7 and suits the parents, the bridesmaids or the witnesses travelling together.
- Guests. A Sprinter carries up to 16, a minibus up to 33 and a coach up to 60, so a hotel-to-venue run takes one vehicle rather than six taxis.

Bridal car, guests and the day’s timetable
Most weddings need three types of movement: the couple to the ceremony, the guests between ceremony and reception, and everyone back to their hotels at the end of the night. These are different jobs. The couple’s car is booked for the hours that matter, the guests’ vehicle is scheduled around the ceremony start, and the late-night run is the one people forget. I put all three in the quote so that the hours add up honestly.

Venues outside Barcelona
Barcelona weddings often move out of the city: a masia in the countryside, a venue on the coast, a town in the hills. The distance to the venue counts as part of the hours, so the earlier you give me the address, the better the plan. Guests flying in
A wedding brings guests from abroad, and the airport run is the first transport of the weekend. A transfer between Barcelona-El Prat and Barcelona is €80 in an E-Class or V-Class, €200 in a Sprinter and €320 in a minibus or coach, VAT included.
